Grand Gedeh is a county in the eastern part of the Republic of Liberia. It is one of the 15 counties that comprise the first level of administrative division in the nation. Zwedru serves as the capital city. It has an area of 10,484 km², which in terms of extension is similar to that of Lebanon. Since the 2008 Census, Grand Gedeh had a population of 126,146 inhabitants, making it the ninth most populated county in all of Liberia. The Grand Distinguished Superintendent of Grand Gedeh is Christopher Beh Bailey. The county has borders with Nimba to the west, as well as Sinoe to the southwest, and River Gee to the southeast.
The northern part of Grand Gedeh County has international borders with the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire.
