Banteay Meanchey
Banteay Mean Chey is a province of Cambodia. It is located in the northwest part of the country and its capital is the City of Sisophon, but the growth of Poipet, bordering point with the neighboring country, have connvertido to the latter in the main town of the Province. The name of the province is translated in Spanish as: Banteay es Fortaleza. Mean Chey or Mien Chey is "Succeeding, triumphing, overcoming", meaning "The Triumphant Fortress" which refers to the battles against Thailand after the decline of the Khmer Empire. This has the following limits: north Oddar Mean Chey, east Siem Reap, south Battambang, west Thailand.
