Kampong Chhnang
The Province of Kompung Chinang is a province of the central plain of the Kingdom of Cambodia and its capital is the City of Kompung Chinang. The word Kompung in Cambodian translates "port". The main attraction of the province is the city of Udong, capital of the Kingdom of Cambodia between 1618 - 1866 before it became Phnom Penh. The archaeological remains of Udong can be seen in Phnom Udong, near the provincial city.
