Kandal
The Province of Kandal is a province of the Kingdom of Cambodia and its capital is the City of Ta Khmau. The word "Kandal" translates into Khmer language "Central", meaning "Central Province". The boundaries of the Province are: N Province of Kompung Cham, E Province of Prey Veng, S Province of Takéo and Gulf of Thailand, O Province of Kompung Speu. The Special District of the City of Phnom Penh is located at the center of the Province, but it is not part of the jurisdiction of the Province, but it is a territory to be known.
