Turkana
Turkana County is a county in Kenya. It is the most north-western county of the country, bordering Uganda, South Sudan and Ethiopia. It occupies the northernmost areas of the Kenyan part of the Rift Valley. The western coast of Lake Turkana and the disputed territory known as the Ilemi triangle belong to this county. The county seat is Lodwar. The total population of the county is 855 399 inhabitants according to the 2009 census.
