Kachin
The Kachin State is the northernmost state of Burma. It limits with China by the north and the east, with the State of Shan by the south, and the division of Sagaing and India by the west. The state capital is Myitkyina. Another important city is called Bhamo. The highest mountain in Burma is in this state. Its name is Hkakabo Razi, and it has 5,889 meters of height, conforming the extreme south of the Himalayas. The largest lake in Burma, Lake Indawgyi is also found in this state.
