Tanintharyi
Tanintharyi, also known by its old name, Tenasserim, is a division of Burma, which occupies the narrow southern strip that makes up the south of the country on the Isthmus of Kra. It borders the Andaman Sea in the west and Thailand in the east. To the north it has the status of Mon. The capital of the division is Tavoy. The other important city is called Mergui.
