Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
The national flag of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines was adopted on October 21,1985. It is a flag composed of three vertical stripes of blue, yellow and green. The yellow strip is double width with respect to the other two and contains, in its central part the letter "V", formed with three green lozenges, two located at the ends and the third in the center. Both the proportion of 2: 3 of the flag, and the use of a flag for all activities of national sovereignty is quite unusual for a former British colony.
