Santa Teresa del Tuy is a Venezuelan city, founded in 1761, elevated to the parish of Santa Teresa de Jesús on October 14,1771, celebrates its patron saint festivities on October 15, associating this day and month with that of the year 1582 when the patron saint He begins his eternal and heavenly life.
